Social networking sites for 12 year olds??

K, so i'm 12 years old and comeing on 13 and i want to know if there is any safe social networking sites for 12 year olds.... MySpace, Bebo and loads of other sites i know have an age limit like 14 and 17.... are there any other sites for ages 12 and over??

MatMice (http://matmice.com/) is pretty cool for the 8+ crowd. It's very similar to Myspace but a lot safer. The only thing is that you have to be "invited" to join. I would be happy to invite you, or there is a place on their site where one of the founders can send you an invitation. Another idea would be the A Girls World Online PenPal Club (http://members.agirlsworld.com/index.htm... It's 12.00 a year but is very safe and fun. I met one of my BFFs there, and she lives in England. Good Luck!

Reply:You could try Facebook, if you're 12 almost 13 you must be in 7th grade so Facebook would be good for you.

I've also heard GIA- http://giaonline.com but all I know about it is that you create a cartoon person for you character and explore around and talk to other "people".


REMEMBER though that any person can pass themselves as a kid on any kids site. So always keep a eye out for "wierd" comments
