i signed up for this cam site called stickam.com and within hours of me showing myself on there some girls begged to see my private parts, and when I didnt they sent all these emo people to harass me...I seriously feel like I've been ganged up on...I can't use the site anymore because they find me easily each time I make a new name.
Has anyone ever had any problems with harassment on social networking sites like MySpace?
stickam is one of the worst sites of all time, trust me, don't use it, you'll get harassed to no end, by...can't say anymore rules 1 and 2
Reply:Two things.
1) Stickam.com is apparently run by the same parent company that runs a lot of porn sites. I wouldn't be surprised if you had some odd things happen after being on that.
2) MySpace is regularly "hacked" in the sense that there are endless ways to redirect to other websites, install adware and malware, etc.
Most likely the combination of the two was exploited somehow. I'd uninstall any client software for stickam, clear your internet files (cache and cookies), update your anti virus and run a full scan as well as doing a check for spyware/malware.
Lastly, I'd get a new MySpace page that doesn't have anything to do with your old one. Use a different email address and everything.
