Do you consider more than 100 friends that you've "met" via social networking sites real or superficial?

Depends on if you know them in real life. Can you really consider people you don't know in real life a friend?

To me, real friends are hard to find and its takes alot of care and understanding from both sides to make the friendship work.
Reply:Absolutely superficial....real friends are people that you can count on no matter what. I have heard many times before that you can count yourself truly lucky to be able to have five true friends in your lifetime.
Reply:i wouldn't consider them "true" friends. like one you can depend on, or turn to.

they are just online acquaintances.

Reply:Superficial. Very. That doesn't mean that they are not worth it. And a few might even become true friends with time and dedication. The first contact is always superficial anyway, right? But how nice it is to increase your opportunities to get to know new people!
